Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Roy Williams hasn’t quite lived up to expecations after the big trade.
Williams was expected to come in and instantly be the big-time star wideout, but it hasn’t gone according to plan.
Instead, he has struggled to even find a role at all in the Dallas offense despite his immense talent.
With the offseason drafting of wideout Dez Bryant, Williams continues to get pushed away from the field.
Miles Austin has already established himself as the team’s star wideout, and Williams could end up as the third or even fourth pass-catching option.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was set to tee off as he tries to qualify for the PGA Tour, but decided to audible instead.
The quarterback elected to attend a voluntary workout with the Cowboys rather than play golf.
Romo said it was not a difficult decision, saying football is what he loves and it was the right thing to do.
He has been bashed in the past for some of the things he has done and chosen over football, but it seems like Romo is changing.
If nothing else, he has realized he has to at least pretend like football is the most important thing to him so as not to get hammered by the media and fans.

Dallas Cowboys veteran linebacker Keith Brooking underwent arthroscopic surgery on his knee.
The surgery is expected to sideline him for a few weeks, which could mean absence from minicamps.
It’s not really the biggest news for Brooking to miss a minicamp or two since he is a veteran and has been in the system before.
The good news is that Brooking will be 100 percent in time for the start of training camp in late July.
He had 106 tackles and three sacks last year in his first season with the Cowboys. He played the previous 11 years with the Atlanta Falcons.

The Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills both expressed an interest in Baltimore Ravens offensive tackle Jared Gaither leading up to the NFL Draft.
However, neither team was so interested as to propose a trade to the Ravens for Gaither, a top left tackle.
It’s rare that left tackles are available and so many teams always have a need for them, making Gaither very enticing.
The Ravens were said to be asking for a second round draft pick but might have accepted a third round choice.
The only way to pry Gaither away from the Ravens now probably is to trade them a player, preferably a solid cornerback.
